With a long holiday (5 days, from April 30 to May 4, 2025), it is forecasted that the whole province will welcome an increasing number of domestic tourists coming to visit, relax, and have fun during the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year. Therefore, to ensure good service for tourists, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province requests that functional departments of localities promptly advise the authorities at the same level to strengthen tourism management before the April 30 - May 1 holiday to ensure landscape and environmental sanitation in the area.
At the same time, coordinate with competent forces to inspect the implementation of regulations on safety criteria for accommodation establishments, price listing, environmental sanitation, food hygiene and safety, security and order, fire prevention and fighting... in tourism business activities and tourism services in the area. Pay attention to reminding businesses and business households to maintain price stability, especially room rates, hotel rooms, motels, food services as well as ensuring service quality for tourists.
For the Management Boards of tourist areas and destinations, it is necessary to improve the quality of services for tourists according to the motto "professional service, attentive service, civilized behavior, clean environment". Coordinate with functional forces to implement compliance with safety criteria at accommodation establishments, ensure security, order and traffic safety. In addition, organize traffic flow, arrange parking lots at tourist attractions to ensure order and manage and control well the activities of street vendors, children renting sandboards... Thereby, preventing the situation of "ripping off", cheating tourists, soliciting, following, harassing tourists, and touts causing disorder.
In preparation for the upcoming holiday, the Management Boards of tourist areas and destinations in the province also need to review and install signs, regulations, and instructions for tourists at tourist attractions, adventure tourism spots, and coastal beaches, along with strengthening rescue work at beaches and swimming pools. Regularly organize cleaning, collect waste, and arrange more trash bins to ensure the environmental landscape at picnic and community tourism spots, etc., contributing to ensuring a clean, civilized environment.
Particularly, businesses participating in tourism activities in the province must not only improve the quality of services, but also arrange enough human resources and necessary conditions to serve tourists well. At the same time, there are measures to strengthen security, order and safety for tourists as well as ensure regulations on food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, posting prices of goods and services and selling at the correct listed prices...
During the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year, local businesses are also encouraged to build and develop new, creative, and unique products, focusing on cultural elements in tourism products to create attractiveness and high competitiveness. Focus on building a friendly and hospitable image to ensure service quality, avoiding unfortunate incidents that affect businesses in particular and Binh Thuan tourism brand in general in the process of serving tourists.
