Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. La Chi Tam (43 years old, the person who posted the clip), said that on the same morning, he was driving on Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, from the Dan Chu roundabout to Phu Dong intersection. When arriving at the above intersection, bus number 51B-290.xx, route 69 (Saigon Bus Station - Vinh Loc Residential Area) suddenly ran a red light.
"At that time, I was waiting for a red light in the outer lane. This bus was driving in the motorbike lane, honking loudly, and ran the red light at the 20th second. The incident made many people on the road angry," said Mr. Tam.
Immediately after the incident, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center requested the City Transport Company to suspend the driver for handling according to regulations.
"This is a serious violation in bus operations. According to regulations, the transport company must fire the male driver," said a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center.
The Ben Thanh Traffic Police Team under the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police has received the information. This unit is extracting security cameras and inviting the driver to come in for questioning.
