Investigate and handle 10 drug cases in peak month

Specifically, Van Ban District Police coordinated with relevant units to detect and investigate 10 drug cases, arrest 16 subjects for illegal possession and trafficking of drugs; seized 12.057 grams of heroin, 16.436 grams of opium, and 0.495 grams of synthetic drugs.

Some subjects illegally buying, selling and storing drugs were arrested by Van Ban District Police.

Typically, at 11:00 a.m. on June 2, Van Ban District Police caught La Van Hai (born in 2005, residing in Minh Chieng Village 3, Minh Luong Commune, Van Ban District) in the act of illegally buying and selling drugs in Thai Hoa Village, Hoa Mac Commune, Van Ban District; the seized evidence was 26 packages of drugs (1.556 grams of heroin; 0.495 grams of synthetic drugs; 0.154 grams of a mixture of heroin and synthetic drugs).

At 11:15 a.m. on June 9, Van Ban District Police caught Giang A Minh (born in 1980, residing in Ma Sa Phin village, Nam Xay commune, Van Ban district) in the act of illegally buying and selling drugs in Khanh Yen town, Van Ban district. The seized evidence included 1 package of drugs (2.18 grams of opium). An urgent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 4 packages of drugs (14.256 grams of opium).

At 9:10 p.m. on June 23, Minh Luong Commune Police (Van Ban District) caught Duong Thi Loan (born in 1978, residing in Minh Ha Village 1, Minh Luong Commune, Van Ban District) red-handed for illegally storing drugs. The seized evidence included 3 packages of drugs (2.821 grams of heroin).

In the first 6 months of 2024, Van Ban District Police discovered and investigated 40 drug cases.

It is known that in the first 6 months of 2024, Van Ban District Police coordinated with relevant units to detect and investigate 40 drug cases, arrest 60 subjects for illegal possession and trafficking of drugs in the area, including 17 cases of prosecution of 2 or more subjects for illegal trafficking of drugs.
