Behind the scenes of the movie "Life is still beautiful"
In the latest episode (episode 27), the character Mrs. Luc suddenly passed away after picking up a large sum of money. Afterwards, Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) and everyone in the neighborhood under the bridge, along with the local authorities, arranged Mrs. Luc's funeral.
During the funeral, Luu prayed and asked her to allow everyone to mourn because she had no children or relatives. The neighbors considered her as a relative and mourned her so that she could leave in peace. Luu hoped that she would go to the afterlife to meet her family and relatives and bless the villagers to soon escape this hamlet under the bridge.
Everyone fell into silence because no one knew for sure. Hearing that the old man passed away on the full moon day, everyone in the boarding house began to clasp their hands and pray because everyone believed that people who died on this day were very sacred. The scene moved many viewers.
According to the behind-the-scenes clip shared by actor To Dung, to complete the scene, the actors improvised, creating many emotions.
In contrast to the tragic atmosphere on film, behind the scenes, the actors were extremely comfortable and excited to learn their lines, giving each other feedback on every word.
Director Nguyen Danh Dung was very attentive to the scene and stood close to the coffin to direct the actors from who said what, who wore the mourning scarf. "Now that the emotion is gone, let's joke about whatever we want," said director Nguyen Danh Dung. So even though they had to say very emotional lines, the actors laughed and talked happily.
The night before she passed away, Mrs. Luc pulled Mrs. Tinh into her room to show off that she was satisfied with buying a coffin, buying new clothes, and taking a memorial photo.
Artist Le Duc Tho - the person in charge of the film's background revealed that this was also a memorable scene during the making of this film.
"In the scene where Mrs. Luc and Mrs. Tinh (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) talk, the director requested that there be a coffin in the room. I didn't expect that the director could think of such a difficult thing.
We had to rent it twice, once for the above scene, once for Mrs. Luc's funeral scene. In fact, we had to ask many places before they agreed to rent it," director Duc Tho expressed.
