On the afternoon of March 5, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen presented decisions to five personnel appointed by the Central Party Secretariat to join the Ho Chi Minh City Party Executive Committee.

The appointed personnel include: Major General Mai Hoang - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; Colonel Tran Thanh Duc - Commander of Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard; Mr. Pham Hong Son - Chief of Office of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thai - Director of Ho Chi Minh City People's Procuracy and Mr. Dang Quoc Toan - Chief of Office of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has new Head of Organization Committee
On March 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to hand over the decision on cadres. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet - Member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation to hold the position of Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee.

Ms. Tuyet is from Ho Chi Minh City, has a master's degree in Economics - Politics, a bachelor's degree in Biology, a bachelor's degree in Administration, and has held the following positions: Chairman of Hoc Mon District People's Committee, Director of the Department of Tourism. From September 2016 to present, she has been a member of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City, 14th term.
Mr. Lam Hung Tan was appointed as Permanent Deputy Secretary of District 10 Party Committee.
On March 7, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to receive, transfer and appoint Mr. Lam Hung Tan - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 10, term 2020 - 2025.

Mr. Lam Hung Tan was born in 1974, from Ca Mau province, with a master's degree in public administration. Mr. Tan was once Vice Chairman of District 4 People's Committee. In October 2018, Mr. Tan was transferred and appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
Mr. Nguyen Bac Nam is Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs.

The term of office is 5 years from February 26, 2024. Mr. Nam was born in 1967, has a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Politics, and Advanced Political Theory.
