The special thing that surprised international fans at the Blackpink concert in Hanoi

This is the first time a Kpop group has brought a large-scale concert to Vietnam, but Blackpink fans in Vietnam immediately left a good impression on international audiences with their enthusiasm not inferior to other Asian countries.

According to the latest information on YG Entertainment's website, the two Born Pink shows at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, Vietnam, which took place on July 29-30, have officially joined the list of 59/59 "sold out" concerts (100% sold out) of Blackpink up to now. Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee said that Blackpink 's two shows at My Dinh Stadium welcomed a total of about 67,000 spectators (36,000 people on the first night and 31,000 people on the second night). But right in the afternoon before the second night, YG continued to sell more tickets directly at the stadium, so the actual number of spectators may increase. The Born Pink concert in Vietnam was announced unexpectedly, only 1 month before the two shows. But it was the enthusiasm of the Vietnamese audience that turned the concert at My Dinh Stadium into two of Blackpink's most special shows on this global tour. Vietnamese fanchant is an indispensable "specialty" of Kpop. It is the cheering of fans for their idols during performances. Usually, fans will shout out some phrases in the song, the last phrase of the song, or interweave the name of the idol or group to match the melody of the whole song. But at the My Dinh stadium concert, Vietnamese fans shocked international fans with their unique fanchant. In Jisoo's solo performance, the song "Flower" was changed to a Vietnamese version. Even in the chorus, the Vietnamese version of "Flower" was sung loudly and clearly by Vietnamese fans, overpowering Jisoo's live voice. The Vietnamese version of "Shut Down" also made a strong impression.

The "huge" number of fans both inside and outside the stadium Blackpink is the first Kpop group to hold two large-scale shows in Vietnam, with more than 30,000 spectators per night. Vietnam is also not a familiar market chosen by Kpop artists as a stop on global or Asian tours. Therefore, before the concert took place, many international audiences doubted the spirit and enthusiasm of the Vietnamese Blink fandom. The noise in the ticket sales process, and the surrounding problems that occurred right before the show made many people worry that the concert would "sold out" or be canceled. However, in the end, Vietnamese and international fans filled the stadium, creating a sea of pink that was as bright as any Born Pink concert in the world.

International fans were overwhelmed because Vietnamese fans not only filled the stadium, but the number of fans standing outside the stadium was also extremely large. During Rosé's solo performance, a video of a large number of spectators outside the stadium turning on their phone flashlights to join the audience in the stadium to create a "white sea" for Rosé caused a fever on social networks. Blackpink also received conical hats prepared by Vietnamese fans and wore them directly on stage. The members also learned the choreography of the song "See Tinh" to perform as a special gift for the fans. Notably, right after the first night of the show, all 4 members of Blackpink immediately posted stories on their personal accounts, expressing their excitement and looking forward to seeing Vietnamese fans again at the second night of the show. This is a rare action that Blackpink performs at concerts.

Not only that, the concert at My Dinh Stadium overwhelmed international audiences with a magnificent fireworks display throughout the performances. Many fans commented that the fireworks for Blackpink in Vietnam were more beautiful than those in Asian countries and were not inferior to the grandeur of the concert in Paris, France.
