Huawei Mate XT is the world's first 3-fold smartphone, with an innovative design and many unique features. The fact that Huawei Mate XT can be sold in the international market is a surprise because previously there was information that this smartphone model was only produced in limited quantities and sold in China.
When closed, the Mate XT Ultimate Design is a standard 6.4-inch Full HD+ phone. When opened, it has a 7.9-inch 2K display - ideal for watching videos or checking emails. And when fully opened, it has a 10.2-inch 3K display to give users a computer-like experience.
The device is 3.6mm thick when fully opened, while it is 12.8mm thick when folded (just slightly thicker than the 12.1mm thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold 6). In addition, Huawei also claims that the device has 25% more resistance to bending than other foldable phones.
The device has a 3-camera system on the back including: 50MP main sensor with variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0 combined with 12MP super wide-angle lens and 12MP periscope camera. The front of the phone has an 8MP selfie camera for taking selfies and video calls.
The device is equipped with Kirin 9010 chip and 3 ultra-thin batteries for a total capacity of 5,600 mAh. The device supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The device comes pre-installed with HarmonyOS 4.2, but the international version will likely run EMUI 14.2 for compatibility with Android apps. However, users will not be able to fully utilize Google apps due to US restrictions.
Currently, the price of the international version has not been revealed, but previously, Huawei Mate XT in China had two color options, black and red, sold at the following prices: 16 GB Ram, 256 GB memory version priced at 19,999 yuan (about 69 million VND); 16 GB Ram, 512 GB memory version priced at 21,999 yuan (about 76.24 million VND); 16 GB Ram, 1 TB memory version priced at 23,999 yuan (about 83.17 million VND).
