Disaster prevention and incident response drills in 2025

With the goal of being proactively ready to respond to natural disasters, ensuring safe - continuous - stable power supply to serve socio -economic development and national security and defense, the Northern Power Corporation and Vinh Phuc Power Company organized drills on natural disaster prevention, search and rescue and incident handling in 2025.

The drill was conducted at the Dao Tu Commune Safety Training Center, Tam Duong District with hypothetical situations such as: Replacing transformers; Replacing wires and broken porcelain due to natural disasters and rescuing people with broken legs when troubleshooting; Removing flooded meter boxes and rescuing drowning people; Replacing insulators using the Hotline method.

During the exercise, the teams demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, coordinated well, performed accurately, and strictly followed technical procedures and labor safety regulations. Each situation was handled effectively, reflecting the ability of the on-site forces to respond quickly, flexibly, and scientifically in complex real-life conditions.

Through the drill, it contributes to improving the capacity to handle situations, respond, rescue, and promptly resolve incidents on the power grid caused by natural disasters according to the "4 on-site" motto, minimizing damage to people and property in the management area; ensuring safe and stable power supply, shortening power outage time. At the same time, raising awareness for officers and employees in incident identification, minimizing damage caused by natural disasters to the power grid.
