Quang Da Bridge and the approach road are grade II traffic works, invested by the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic and Agricultural Works of Da Nang City with a total investment of nearly 275 billion VND.

Speaking at the technical opening ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Chinh - Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee said: "Today's technical opening is an important step, opening up many new development opportunities. However, for the project to be truly effective, we need to continue to pay attention to maintenance to ensure long-term safety and sustainability."

The project will start construction in December 2023 with the Da Nang Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works as the investor, project manager and supervision consultant with a total capital of more than 274 billion VND.

The total length of the road and bridge is more than 1.4km, of which the bridge is 204m long.

The bridge is 22m wide, with 7m of road surface on each side. The approach roads on both sides of the bridge are more than 1.2km long.

There is a sidewalk on the bridge for pedestrians.

The approach road is 1.2km long; the starting point (Km0+00) intersects with National Highway 14B at Km31+087 (in Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city), the end point (Km1+408) connects with the Northern Ring Road of Quang Nam province at Dien Tien commune, Dien Ban town.

The section leading to Da Nang city is 1.1km long, the roadbed width is 34m, the road surface width on each side is 7m. Currently, this section of road has been paved.

The Quang Nam province approach section is 50m long, with a roadbed width of 27m and a road surface width of 7m on each side. According to the investor, this approach section is still stuck with site clearance and cannot be completed in March 2025.

Many people came to Quang Da bridge to attend the technical traffic opening event on the morning of March 27.

Mr. Duong Van Thanh and his wife (Dien Tien, Dien Ban, Quang Nam) walked on the bridge after the technical opening ceremony. "We are very happy that the bridge has been technically opened to traffic. The construction and putting into use of Quang Da bridge will make our travel and communication easier and more convenient."

This project is not simply a traffic project but also demonstrates the connection between Da Nang and Quang Nam, promising to promote socio-economic development and strengthen relations between the two localities.
