Appearance of Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway about to open to technical traffic

The 18.8 km Ben Luc – Long Thanh expressway section from Le Kha Phieu Street (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City) is also being rushed to complete the final items to finish on schedule.

Along with a series of key traffic projects across the country that will be started and completed on April 19, the 18.8 km Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway section from Le Kha Phieu Street (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City) is also being rushed to complete the final items to reach the finish line on schedule.

With the opening of 18.8km of Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, vehicles can travel continuously for more than 22km from the intersection with Trung Luong expressway (Ben Luc) to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Nha Be), avoiding traffic congestion and jams if going on Nguyen Huu Tho, Nguyen Van Linh streets...

Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC, investor) said: With the opening of 18.8km of Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, vehicles can travel continuously for more than 22km from the intersection with Trung Luong Expressway (Ben Luc) to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Nha Be), avoiding congestion and traffic jams if going to Nguyen Huu Tho, Nguyen Van Linh streets...

Toll station from Nguyen Van Tao street to the highway has been basically completed.

Up to now, the final items on the highway have been completed. Seen from above, the route stretches between the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City, through green fields and interwoven canals. The lighting system, traffic signs, and road markings have been installed synchronously, creating a spacious and modern appearance. The toll station from Nguyen Van Tao Street to the highway has been basically completed.

The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is 57.8km long, connecting three localities Long An, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Construction , on the occasion of April 30 this year, 5 expressway projects with a total length of more than 226km will be inaugurated and put into operation on the main route. Of which, 4 projects belong to the North-South expressway in the East passing through the Central region and the Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway project.

The 57.8km Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway connects the three localities of Long An , Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai. The route not only helps reduce pressure on National Highway 1, National Highway 51 and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, but also opens up new development space for industrial parks, seaports and airports in the region.
