Speaking to Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Vu Huy Ha, Director of Thai Binh City Electricity, said that at 7:41 a.m. the same day, an incident occurred, causing an explosion in De Tham Ward. After checking, Thai Binh Electricity's technical staff discovered that the cause was a broken ceramic ball at the circuit breaker of Ly Bon transformer station No. 4.
Mr. Vu Huy Ha explained that the electricity supply to Le Quy Don High School comes from two sources, one for the classrooms, the other for the office and the security room. This morning, when the incident occurred, the power supply to the classrooms was restored at 7:52 (11 minutes later). At 8:55, the power supply to the office and the security room was restored and returned to normal operation.
"To prepare well for the power supply during the 2024 national high school exam, according to our plan, if a power outage occurs, it will only be allowed to occur during the operation period. That means we only allow a power outage for a very short time, and the power must be restored immediately. In case of a long power outage, we have a 6.5 kg generator that is always ready on the car, if necessary, we will move the machine to the power outage point immediately. In addition, a large generator from Thai Binh Electricity is always ready to serve," Mr. Vu Huy Ha added.
Previously, as reported in Thanh Nien Newspaper, this morning, while the literature exam of the national high school exam was taking place, there was suddenly a loud explosion causing the Le Quy Don High School exam site to lose power.
