This year's exercise was organized on a comprehensive scale, mobilizing nearly 180 officers and employees from affiliated units, aiming to improve command, operation and emergency response capacity in all weather and environmental conditions.

The 2025 drill program will carry out 6 realistic simulation scenarios, deployed at 4 field locations and 1 conference hall location, including: Handling medium-voltage incidents caused by lightning strikes at column 79 of the 35kV line; handling low-voltage incidents at Nguyen Duc Canh substation due to voltage spread; cleaning live insulation with high-pressure water at the RMU cabinet of the Social Protection resettlement area; checking the power grid after storms with a flycam; detecting and handling spyware in the information technology system and first aid for workers who have accidents in bad weather conditions.

Each situation is built in detail from the scene, materials, equipment to personnel and technical measures, and is seriously and closely coordinated by functional departments, affiliated power companies and units. All operations are carried out in accordance with the working process on the unplanned power grid, in absolute compliance with regulations on labor safety, electrical safety and network safety.

The highlight of this year's exercise is the increased application of modern technology: Using flycam to monitor power lines, applying hotline insulation cleaning techniques without power outages, and developing a plan to handle information security incidents according to the early warning and quick response model.

These technological solutions contribute to improving the reliability of power supply and optimizing incident handling time, especially in mountainous terrain and complex weather conditions such as Lao Cai province.

After completing the fieldwork, the company held a meeting to summarize, evaluate and draw lessons. Thereby, the leaders of the departments and units agreed on many solutions to complete the scenario and drill process, and at the same time updated the company's 2025 disaster prevention and search and rescue plan.

Mr. Tran Thanh Duyet - Deputy Director of Lao Cai Power Company - said that the drill is not only a professional requirement but also an important part of the risk management strategy. This is an opportunity for Lao Cai Power Company to review and strengthen the ability to respond quickly, flexibly handle unexpected situations, and ensure absolute safety for people, equipment and the power system.

The successful organization of the drill demonstrates the spirit of proactively responding to natural disasters and incidents in all circumstances, demonstrating Lao Cai Electricity's determination in implementing digital transformation goals, improving operational efficiency, ensuring safe and continuous power supply, contributing to maintaining the trust of customers and the community.
