With the theme "Cooperatives - Building a better world", the Action Month for Cooperatives 2025 aims to promote, motivate, and encourage to create new motivation and spirit for cadres and workers in the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system and managers and members to be responsible, proactive, innovative, and creative, contributing to promoting the collective economy and cooperatives to develop further.

At the Forum, contestants participated in the Contest "Understanding the Law on Cooperatives in 2023". The contest was organized to promote awareness of the role, functions, tasks and important contributions of the collective economic sector and cooperatives; at the same time, honor the role of cooperatives in participating in economic development, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. The contest was attended by 08 members representing cooperatives of 08 districts and cities in the province.

Representatives of cooperatives in the province attended the Forum.

Up to now, the province has 672 cooperative groups; 02 Cooperative Unions; 460 cooperatives with a total charter capital of 775.6 billion VND and 4,640 members; average income of 60 million VND/year/member. In recent years, the production emulation movement has become a key and continuous task for improving the efficiency of cooperative activities in Bac Kan province. Based on the emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Cooperative Union, the Provincial Cooperative Union has applied them to local realities and the operation situation of cooperatives to set out appropriate goals, contents, and emulation solutions with the highest efficiency. Notable movements are: Building and developing cooperative economy, sustainable cooperatives; emulating good economic performance, the whole people uniting to build a cultural life and implementing democratic regulations at the grassroots level; joint ventures and associations for the sustainable development of cooperatives; Innovate the management apparatus, improve the production and business efficiency of cooperatives; improve working methods and procedures, improve the quality and efficiency of the Provincial Cooperative Union...

15 outstanding cooperatives were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Cooperative Union for their achievements in the production and business emulation movement.

At the end of the "Understanding the Law on Cooperatives 2023" Contest, the Provincial Cooperative Union awarded the First Prize to contestant Duong Khanh Ly, Director of Nghia Ta Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative (Cho Don); 02 Second Prizes went to contestant Trieu Thi Thuy, An Binh Cooperative (Cho Don) and Le Thi Huong, Director of BK FOOD High-Tech Agricultural Cooperative (Bach Thong); 02 Third Prizes went to contestant Hoang Thi Xanh, Deputy Director of Doan Ket Cooperative (Cho Moi) Ca Thi Bay, Director of Hong Phat Agricultural Cooperative (Pac Nam); contestants Hoang Van Hien, Director of Van Hien Medicinal Herbs Cooperative (Bach Thong); Tran Thi Thanh Thao, Director of Thao Han Medicinal Herbs Cooperative (Bac Kan City), Hoang Van Luan, Director of Bao Chau Medicinal Herbs Planting and Care Cooperative (Na Ri) won the Encouragement Prize./.
