Vietnamese Women Forum in Europe exchanges and connects with Hanoi Business Women Association

On August 21, in Hanoi , the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe had a working session with the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association to enhance connections and exchanges between the two sides.

Ms. Phan Bich Thien, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe, introduced the activities of the Forum after more than a year of establishment. Ms. Phan Bich Thien expressed her joy that after 4 months of signing the cooperation agreement between the two sides, the Forum and the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association had the opportunity to meet and discuss more deeply and specifically about the experience of exporting and importing Vietnamese goods to Europe and vice versa.

At the meeting, members of the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe shared their experiences in exporting Vietnamese goods to Europe.

Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Hanh (Czech Republic) said that in recent years, Vietnamese goods have been very popular in Europe. However, Vietnamese businesses are still not aware of building brands and do not have much understanding of export standards.

Ms. Hanh hopes that Vietnamese businesses need to pay attention to the origin of products, brands, designs, and packaging of products.

Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Diem Hang (Spain) said that exporting Vietnamese agricultural products to Eastern Europe is easy, but to Western Europe it is very difficult. Vietnamese dragon fruit and longan are very delicious and high quality fruits, but they cannot compete with Thai fruits because Thai fruits are very well preserved.

Ms. Bang hopes that domestic businesses will pay attention to the origin, farming diary, etc. It is necessary to prepare right from the growing area to preservation so that Vietnamese products can develop in the long term.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (Belgium) also emphasized that Vietnamese goods have a good opportunity to enter the European market. However, businesses need to pay special attention to the issue of product origin documents, export certificates, etc.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Huong, Vice President of the Hanoi Businesswomen Association, affirmed that this is a useful and practical opportunity for female entrepreneurs in Hanoi. On this occasion, the two sides directly contacted each other and hope to cooperate more in the future.
