Dien Bien learns from the experience of applying digital transformation of Saint Petersburg city (Russian Federation)

NDO - Continuing the working trip to Saint Petersburg city (Russian Federation), for 2 days (April 17 and 18), the Dien Bien province delegation led by comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and worked at a number of typical digital transformation application facilities of the city.

Surveying at the Saint Petersburg One-Stop Center, the Saint Petersburg City Security and Surveillance Center, the delegation was introduced to an overview of the process of receiving, processing and returning administrative procedure results at the Center, and integrated technology solutions to serve the people.

Comrade Le Thanh Do shared that, with the vision and efforts to build Dien Bien into a strong locality in digital transformation in the Northwestern mountainous region, Dien Bien is ready to learn and research deeply the model of the City Security and Monitoring Center.

He also affirmed that he would direct the province's functional agencies and experts in digital transformation and science and technology to participate in programs and seminars invited by Saint Petersburg, thereby researching, evaluating and proposing implementation steps suitable to the actual conditions of the locality.

The working session at the One-Stop Center and the Monitoring Center contributed significantly to helping the leaders of Dien Bien province and members of the working delegation have more opportunities to learn and study international experiences in digital transformation, modernizing public administration and building a smart urban model, suitable for the development trend of Dien Bien province.

This cooperation promises to bring valuable opportunities in the development of sports,education , technology, and other fields.

Previously, in November 2024, Dien Bien province and Saint Petersburg city signed a cooperation agreement on trade-economics, science-technology, society and humanity.

The working trip of Comrade Le Thanh Do, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province and the Dien Bien province delegation to Saint Petersburg city this time is a practical action to concretize the contents of cooperation on science-technology and digital transformation signed by the two sides in the Cooperation Agreement.
