Dien Bien welcomes more than 80,000 visitors on the occasion of the opening of the National Tourism Year

Specifically, from March 13 to 18, when activities took place within the framework of the opening of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and the 2024 Ban Flower Festival, the locality welcomed 80,300 visitors, including 725 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism activities reached 140 billion VND on this occasion.

The number of tourists to Dien Bien increased sharply during the opening of Dien Bien National Tourism Year.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of tourists to Dien Bien has always been high. In January and February alone, there were nearly 240,000 arrivals, with tourism revenue of over 400 billion VND.

The number of tourists coming to Dien Bien during the upcoming peak seasons is expected to always be above 80,000 people or more.
