Dien Bien adjusts the names of two units

Dien Bien TV - Since March 1, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province has officially changed the names of two public service units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This adjustment aims to more clearly demonstrate the functions and tasks of each unit, while honoring the historical and cultural values ​​they represent.

According to Decision No. 445 of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, the Dien Bien Provincial Art Troupe was renamed "Dien Bien Provincial Ethnic Art Troupe".

According to Decision No. 445 of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, issued on February 28, the Dien Bien Provincial Art Troupe was renamed "Dien Bien Provincial Ethnic Art Troupe". The new name aims to better demonstrate the unit's role in preserving and promoting the traditional arts of 19 ethnic groups in the province. Over the past 60 years of its establishment, the Troupe has actively composed, staged and performed programs imbued with national identity, contributing to promoting local culture.

In Decision No. 446 issued by the Provincial People's Committee at the same time as above, the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum changed its name to Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum. The adjustment aims to affirm the stature of the great Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954, an event of great significance not only to Vietnam but also to the national liberation movement in the world. The new name will be more suitable for archival documents, propaganda guidelines as well as the functions and tasks of the museum in the work of preserving and promoting historical values.
