The dispatch stated: According to the report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , in the first 3 months of 2025, 6 outbreaks of avian influenza (AI) A/H5N1 were detected in 4 provinces and cities; 84 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in 22 provinces and cities; 7 provinces had outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease; 5 provinces had outbreaks of lumpy skin disease; over 18,926 poultry and 5,200 pigs were forced to be destroyed; in particular, 20 people died from rabies in 13 provinces and 80 animals in 22 provinces and cities were forced to be destroyed due to suspected rabies...

The Prime Minister requests the Chairman of the People's Committee of provinces and centrally-run cities, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Ministers and Heads of relevant agencies, according to their functions, tasks and authority, to proactively direct and synchronously, resolutely and effectively implement solutions to prevent and control livestock and poultry diseases in accordance with the provisions of the law on veterinary medicine.

According to information from the Government's electronic information portal, from April 6 to 14, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc will attend the High-Level Policy Dialogue Program at Columbia University (New York), pay a working visit to the US and pay an official visit to the Republic of Cuba.

On October 8, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 1120 approving the investment policy for the Dinh Khao bridge construction project connecting Vinh Long and Ben Tre provinces under the public-private partnership model. According to this decision, the Dinh Khao bridge project will be implemented from 2024 to 2028 in Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province and Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province.

The starting point intersects with Provincial Road 902 in My An Commune, Mang Thit District, Vinh Long Province; adjacent to the National Highway 57 bypass project at Km0+00. The ending point intersects with National Highway 57 at about Km11+270, in Phu Phung Commune, Cho Lach District, Ben Tre Province. Dinh Khao Bridge, a key project, promises to solve traffic congestion at Dinh Khao Ferry.
