* The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Bien district coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Hiep commune and the sponsoring unit to organize a ceremony to hand over solidarity houses to near-poor families in Hoa Hiep commune. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Van Vy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, district, commune and sponsoring unit took souvenir photos with Mr. Dot's family.

The house was given to Mr. Duong Van Dot, born in 1958, residing in Hoa Dong A hamlet, Hoa Hiep commune, a near-poor household. The house has an area of ^42m2 , a corrugated iron roof, a tiled floor, and is worth 90 million VND. The Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Tay Ninh branch, supported 50 million VND and the District "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee supported 40 million VND.

On this occasion, local authorities and sponsors gave many gifts to help Mr. Dot's family have better living conditions and stabilize their lives.

* Chau Thanh District Farmers' Association organized a gift giving ceremony for farmer members in difficult circumstances.

Representatives of Duc Thanh Company Limited and leaders of the District Farmers' Association presented gifts to farmer members.

There were 200 gifts given to farmers in difficult circumstances in 15 communes and towns. Each gift worth 150,000 VND included: rice and necessities. The total value of 30 million VND was sponsored by Duc Thanh Company Limited.
