From a barren, overgrown area teeming with drug use and other vices, Phan Thiet city has successfully transformed it into a park with picturesque trees leaning gracefully along the coastline, connecting to Doi Duong beach and adding a highlight to this tourist city…
Recently, in addition to swimming at Doi Duong beach, tourists have also been strolling in Thuong Chanh Park. Although not yet completed, the park has already attracted a considerable number of locals and tourists for recreation, sightseeing, and swimming. Thuong Chanh Park covers an area of approximately 34,000 m² in Hung Long ward, Phan Thiet city, with a total investment of 30 billion VND. The project aims to create an urban landscape, a relaxation and recreation area for local residents, contributing to urban upgrading and beautification, and creating a "green, clean, and beautiful" environment in the area.
The project commenced in October 2022 and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2024. The project includes areas A and B, and access roads. Area A comprises an administration building and public restrooms with a construction area of approximately 666 m²; a sports field with an area of approximately 1,711 m²; a landscaped hill with an area of approximately 1,588 m²; a campsite with an area of approximately 2,170 m²; and a miniature landscape area with an area of approximately 527 m². Area B includes a parking lot with an area of approximately 981 m²; a plaza with an area of approximately 1,957 m²; a gazebo area with an area of approximately 2,215 m²; a children's playground with an area of approximately 3,722 m²; and an art sculpture garden with an area of approximately 1,390 m².

Currently, the installation of 50 lighting poles and 9 flagpoles is underway…
Thuong Chanh Park is located in a beautiful spot at the confluence of the Ca Ty River and the sea. Locals can stroll and swim here. For tourists, it's a new and worthwhile place to explore and take unique photos, with the Ca Ty River, brightly colored boats anchored, and the gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore.
