In 2024, the Armored Forces Officer School will recruit 139 students. Of these, 90 will be from the North and 49 from the South.

The school's admission criteria are as follows:

- Non-commissioned officers and soldiers currently serving in the armed forces in accordance with the law on military service, with a service period of 12 months or more as of April of the recruitment year (military personnel enlisted in 2021 or earlier); Professional military personnel, defense workers and civil servants serving in the Army for 12 months or more as of September of the recruitment year.

- For male youths outside the military (including discharged soldiers and citizens who have completed their service in the People's Public Security), there is no limit on the number of applicants.

- Age requirements, as of the year of application, for active or retired military personnel and citizens who have completed their service in the People's Public Security Force are between 18 and 23 years old. Or for young people outside the military, they are between 17 and 21 years old.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round admission results.

From August 28, schools will announce additional enrollment rounds. From September to December 2024, schools will conduct the next enrollment rounds and update the list of successful candidates and enroll according to regulations.
