Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Police Department requested the Director of the Departmentof Education and Training of the City,   Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts Quickly direct the use of VNeID electronic identification accounts in primary school enrollment . This is to simplify the components of administrative procedures.

The document of Ho Chi Minh City Police also informed that through receiving feedback from commune-level police in the city, there are still many cases where parents and students contact commune-level police to request a certificate of residence information (form CT07).

Parents said that the People's Committee of the commune and primary and secondary schools require a certificate of residence information before they can carry out the registration procedure for their children to study at primary and secondary schools.

"This incident shows that localities have not thoroughly implemented the direction of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vo Van Hoan in Official Dispatch No. 04/VP-KSTT dated January 2, 2025 of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

This is a directive on the exploitation and use of electronic identification account information on VNeID in receiving and simplifying administrative procedure records in the city" - the document of Ho Chi Minh City Police clearly stated.

At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City Police also instructed: In cases where the information about the residence of the student's father, mother, guardian, or head of household on the VNeID application is displayed incorrectly with the information provided by the citizen, the People's Committee of the commune level, the principal of the primary and secondary school will make a list and send it to the police of the ward, commune, or town where the citizen resides to check and verify the information for accuracy.
