Visiting the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, Thanh Luong area, Tuy Loc commune, Cam Khe district - one of the members supported to build a "Warm House of Love" house, we can see the meaning of the specific work that TYM - Phu Tho Branch has created conditions and supported her family to build a new, spacious house. Ms. Lien's family is a poor household in the commune, the eldest child was born prematurely so her health is weak, she has to go to the hospital for treatment and surgery regularly, she herself does not have a stable job so the family's expenses depend on her husband's meager salary. Although they have tried very hard, her family does not have enough conditions to build a solid house.

Understanding her wishes and circumstances, in 2023, TYM - Phu Tho Branch supported 40 million VND to build a "Warm House of Love" for the family. Together with the family, local authorities, brothers and relatives also supported funding, materials, labor days, to build a new house for her family with a total area of ​​over 90m2, worth over 280 million VND.

We visited the animal feed business model of Ms. Vu Thi Thu Phuong's family, Vinh Phu area, Thuy Van commune, Viet Tri city - one of the members who has access to TYM's loan capital to develop the economy. It is known that Ms. Phuong and her husband used to work abroad but the job was not stable, so they returned to their hometown to start a business. In 2022, knowing that TYM - Phu Tho branch creates conditions to support members with average income to borrow capital to develop production and business, she boldly borrowed capital to pursue her dream of developing the family economy.

Talking to us, Ms. Phuong said: “In 2022, thanks to a loan of 50 million VND from TYM's loan capital and our family's savings, my husband and I boldly invested in building a livestock feed store to supply small-scale livestock farms in the area. In addition, taking advantage of our home garden, I also raise more than 100 broiler chickens, earning over 200 million VND each year.”

Not only Ms. Lien and Ms. Phuong, but also many members and women are supported by TYM - Phu Tho Branch to build charity houses, access preferential loans to promote economic development from livestock farming, production, business, stabilize life, enhance the position of women in the family and society, contribute to socio-economic development, poverty reduction in the locality...

Mr. Tran Van Tuyen - Director of TYM - Phu Tho Branch said: In the past time, TYM - Phu Tho Branch has always closely followed the leadership and direction of superiors and the regulations of the State Bank, TYM organization; focused on developing scale, innovating activities, improving the quality of products and services, accompanying and aiming at members who are poor women in the province.

Up to now, the number of members participating is over 12,135 customers. TYM - Phu Tho Branch has a Branch Office, 4 transaction offices operating in 7 districts, cities, towns, 77 communes, wards, and towns, 514 residential areas, 414 clusters (an increase of 4 communes, wards, and 14 clusters compared to 2023). In 2024, the Branch has adjusted the lending interest rate 5 times to create conditions for customers to flexibly access loan sources; supported disbursement for over 5,900 customers with a total amount of more than 223 billion VND, outstanding capital reached 147 billion VND, outstanding savings reached 106 billion VND, repayment rate reached 99.99%. In addition, TYM also promotes savings activities, creates savings habits for members, builds self-owned capital for each family, reduces loan interest rates...

Along with improving the quality of products and services, TYM also actively participates in social activities in the area. In 2024, the Branch spent over 468 million VND on community activities serving social security such as: Supporting the purchase of equipment for 4 units: Huong Non Commune Health Station (Tam Nong district), Phu Lo Secondary School (Phu Ninh district), Xuan Vien Kindergarten (Yen Lap district), Huong Lung Kindergarten (Cam Khe district) with a total amount of 60 million VND; supporting 40 million VND to build a "Shelter of Love" for customer Nguyen Thi Hang, Mit area, Yen Lap town, Yen Lap district; visiting and giving gifts to 39 member families and policy families on July 27; awarded 6 scholarships to support TYM in helping customers' children achieve their dreams of studying at university and secondary school, and 35 scholarships to encourage children of members with excellent achievements and difficult circumstances with a total amount of 42.5 million VND; gave gifts to 74 TYM customers affected by storm No. 3 with a total cost of 37 million VND...

In addition, the Branch also coordinated with the Women's Union at all levels to organize capacity building training for 412 cluster leaders and loan group leaders; 6 thematic activities with the content of "Propaganda on plastic waste prevention and control", methods of building linkage models, product consumption for customers...

With effective support and companionship activities, TYM - Phu Tho Branch has helped female members and women in the province, especially poor and disadvantaged women, overcome difficulties, confidently develop their economy, stabilize and improve the quality of family life, contributing to poverty reduction and ensuring social security in the locality.
