Ha Long Bay-Cat Ba Archipelago Heritage promoted on CNN channel

Images of the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago were officially broadcast on the famous American television channel CNN through a 30-second film. Through that, countless beautiful, unique and impressive images of the outstanding global values of Cat Ba Archipelago ( Hai Phong city) and Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province) were introduced to billions of viewers around the world.

The promotional video with impressive images of the world heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago was broadcast on CNN Asia channel (Northeast Asia, Asia- Pacific , South Asia) in many different programs (The Lead, First Move, CNN News room...) with a frequency of 3 broadcasts/day, starting from November 5 and continuously until December 2, 2024.

It can be said that this is an effort of the Department of Culture and Sports and related sectors of Hai Phong city in implementing Plan No. 166/KH-UBND dated July 19, 2024 of the People's Committee of Hai Phong city on communication about the value of the World Heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago in the period of 2024 and 2025.

“Through international communication activities, Hai Phong city wants to promote the values and realistic, vivid images of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago to international friends around the world,” shared Director of Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports Tran Thi Hoang Mai.

In addition, the Department has coordinated with media agencies to carry out many communication activities about the heritage complex on channels of Vietnam Television (VTV1, VTV3), Hai Phong Radio and Television (THP), on social networks, Heritage magazine...

Through this, international tourists also have the opportunity to understand more about the magnificent beauty and outstanding global value of Cat Ba archipelago with nearly 400 large and small islands with cool green forests on the sea, and many endemic animals in the "red book"; where there is a vast blue ocean with smooth white sand beaches, unique green vegetation, and beautiful, wild and majestic coastal and forest roads; a place that everyone wants to visit and experience directly.

According to the plan, in 2025, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong city will continue to preside over the implementation of propaganda activities about the value of the world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago on the television system on channels with the interest, interaction, views and listens of a large audience such as: Vietnam Television; TVC will introduce Cat Ba Archipelago on the screens of all flights (domestic and international) of Vietnam Airlines, on the LED screen system at international airports; on social platforms...
