Located in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, only about 1km from Lung Cu flagpole, Lo Lo Chai is likened to a fairyland because of its beautiful natural scenery.

Having been to Ha Giang 5 times, it was not until the 6th time that Nguyen Trang Nhung (24 years old, Hanoi) decided to explore Lo Lo Chai because of her friends' recommendations and reviews on social networking sites.

“I have been to places in the northern mountainous region such as Mu Cang Chai, Sa Pa, and Ta Phin. However, Lo Lo Chai impressed me especially because of its peacefulness, less affected by mass tourism. The people here still retain their very unique traditional beauty, living in harmony with nature,” Ms. Nhung shared.

Here, visitors have the opportunity to admire the typical rammed earth house architecture often seen in the Ha Giang stone plateau. The tiled roofs are located close together, creating a peaceful and idyllic scene. Not only that, Lo Lo Chai also preserves traditional crafts such as carpentry, embroidery... creating a unique cultural picture.

Many tourists have compared Lo Lo Chai to Van Mieu village in Yunnan province, China. It is a small village famous for the movie Going to the Windy Place, which has been a hit for a long time, with the two main actors being Liu Yifei and Li Xian. The movie is set in a Chinese countryside, with people living emotionally, doing community tourism, welcoming guests to stay at homestays and experience the simple rural life.

Explaining why she has returned to Ha Giang many times, Ms. Nhung said: "For me, Ha Giang is a place that holds many emotions. Every time I come here, I have a new experience."

The female tourist was "enchanted" by the beautiful natural picture with towering limestone mountains, deep valleys and vast flower fields of Ha Giang.

“The air here is always cool and fresh, especially in the early morning when the fog covers the area. The people here are very gentle and friendly, they live simply and are always ready to welcome visitors with a warm smile,” she said.

However, Ms. Nhung encountered many difficulties when traveling by motorbike on steep mountain passes, especially in spring when the weather was unstable, with rain and dense fog.

“Before the trip, I prepared my health, maintained my motorbike and made detailed plans for each day. Mentally, I always kept an excited mood and was ready to experience new things. Regarding expenses, I calculated reasonably for accommodation and transportation, so that the trip would not be too financially stressful,” she said.

Visitors should prepare good health and bring necessary items such as warm clothes, sturdy walking shoes, maps and spare batteries. In addition to the scenery, visitors should explore the culture and people here to find rich and unique things.

Trang Nhung affirmed that she will definitely return to Ha Giang again because she loves this land so much. In addition, the female tourist also wants to explore more places like Cao Bang, Phu Tho, where there is wild beauty and rusticity typical of the Northern mountainous region.
