Artisan Pham Thanh Mai, Director of Mai Linh Ceramics Company Limited, recounted: “When I was 5-10 years old, I followed my parents into the workshop, touched ceramics, and watched with my own eyes adults mold, carve, draw, and fire, creating ceramic products to beautify life. When I grew up, I continued my family’s traditional profession with a burning desire for innovation, to enrich my family and my hometown…”.

Artisan Pham Thanh Mai has skillfully combined sophisticated manual methods with artistic creativity, with its own nuances and characteristics of the craft village to create essential oil lamps. The products are handmade, the ceramic core is shaped by hand and on a turntable, completely based on the experience and feelings of each individual potter. Through the talented and skillful hands of the craftsmen, each essential oil lamp is imbued with values that breathe the Vietnamese soul and integrates two functions: Decorative lamp and mosquito repellent essential oil burner, both a night light and a fragrance, warming the room.
