Accordingly, the Ministry of Construction added Gia Binh International Airport (Gia Binh Airport, Bac Ninh Province) to the national airport system plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Gia Binh Airport has a scale of 4E airport level; Expected design capacity of about 5 million passengers/year in the period of 2021 - 2030; About 15 million passengers/year with a vision to 2050; Expected land area of ​​about 408.5 hectares. Estimated investment cost according to the planning is about 25,614 billion VND in the period of 2021 - 2030, about 12,083 billion VND with a vision to 2050.

It is known that the Government Office has announced the conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the meeting on investing in the construction of a road connecting Gia Binh International Airport, Bac Ninh province with Hanoi capital and building a logistics center in the port area.
