According to Decision No. 509/QD-TTg, dated June 13, 2024 of the Prime Minister on approving the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045. By 2030, Thanh Hoa province, along with Nghe An and Ha Tinh, will become one of the 6 driving forces for tourism development in Vietnam.
Lam Kinh Special National Relic Site (Tho Xuan), an attractive destination for tourists.
The plan has identified the development of Vietnam's tourism space by 2045 to include 6 regions, 3 growth poles, 8 dynamic areas, 5 main tourism corridors, 11 tourism centers; forming a system of national tourist areas and potential locations to develop into national tourist areas.
By 2030, we will focus on forming 6 dynamic areas including:
1- Dynamic tourism development area Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh - Ninh Binh.
2- Dynamic tourism development area of Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh.
3- Dynamic tourism development areas of Quang Binh - Quang Tri - Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam
4- Dynamic tourism development areas of Khanh Hoa - Lam Dong - Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan.
5- Dynamic tourism development area of Ho Chi Minh City - Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
6- Dynamic tourism development area of Can Tho - Kien Giang - Ca Mau.
In particular, the Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh tourism development dynamic area will create support in the direction of combining diverse tourism products associated with ecology, world heritage, historical culture, beliefs with sea tourism, source tourism, community tourism associated with ethnic minorities in mountainous areas.
