These subjects called medical and pharmaceutical establishments in Can Tho City, claiming to be officers from professional departments under the Department of Health such as inspection, medical operations, pharmaceutical operations, etc. to inform, threaten and request services related to appraisal, granting of practice licenses or inspections.
Specifically, the subjects threatened to demand payment of fees for appraisal services and issuance of practice licenses; demanded payment of fees for services for practice establishments to avoid being inspected; notified that practice establishments had violated the law and requested money transfers to bribe authorities; impersonated to sell related records and documents...
Regarding this reflection, Mr. Pham Phu Truong Giang - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Department of Health - said that he had sent a written response, affirming that these acts were completely impersonation, with fraudulent motives. At the same time, they seriously affected the honor and reputation of the officials and civil servants of the Department of Health.
Can Tho City Department of Health informs that all documents related to the appraisal and issuance of practice licenses are submitted and appraised on the Can Tho City Public Service Portal, or contact the Public Administration Center for support.
The Department of Health will only contact by phone when it is necessary to notify the facility of an inspection schedule, or when it is necessary to clarify information in the submitted records. In cases where information needs to be provided, a specific document will be sent to the facility.
The Department of Health recommends that medical and pharmaceutical establishments, when receiving threatening phone calls, requests to pay fees, transfer money, etc., absolutely do not comply; immediately report to the authorities or the relevant department phone numbers of the department for clarification.
