Bui Quynh Hoa accused of buying the "Miss Universe Vietnam 2023" award
The new Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 - Bui Quynh Hoa was accused of "buying the prize" and became a hot topic of discussion on the "internet". Despite the people involved (including the new Miss and the Organizing Committee of the contest) speaking up to explain, beauty fans even reported the incident to the organizing committee of the Miss Universe world contest.
The incident seemed so big that the Miss Universe Organizing Committee responded in a letter saying that it was "reviewing" the issue. Needless to say, those who "accused" were delighted when their personal problems and questions were heard. In a way, this shows the power of the accuser.
Not stopping there, the images of the new beauty queen Bui Quynh Hoa's "young" partying days were also dug up and shared all over social media. This added weight to the accusation of award-buying that was being spread and that Bui Quynh Hoa was not worthy of the beauty queen crown.
Seeing injustice, reporting is right. The psychology of the whistleblower is real. It is just that there are people who respond to the denunciation without knowing the truth of the matter, which is scary.
It is not right to overlook mistakes because of leniency, but to satisfy personal feelings while more or less disregarding the reputation of the country is not right.
Beauty fans do everything to find answers to their accusations
In fact, the insiders have spoken out about the rumors of award buying and if they are not satisfactory, I think beauty fans should continue to demand a more satisfactory answer from the insiders instead of bringing the matter to the ears of the international Miss Universe Organizing Committee.
That information is posted on the official website of the contest and can be viewed everywhere in the world. Will "Miss Universe" really listen to the hearts of Vietnamese beauty fans or listen to the explanation from the Miss Universe Vietnam Organizing Committee - a partner unit that pays for the contest's copyright? Especially when the owner of "Miss Universe" is still "in a mess" and has not found a way to escape from the "mess" of financial exhaustion and countless other rumors.
More importantly, why are many Vietnamese beauty fans letting personal emotions take over to the point of spinning around the story of who deserves the crown, who is better than who to become beauty queen ?
Even if the organizers of a beauty contest really buy and sell prizes as rumored, it is no longer unusual.
Almost all beauty pageants today have become a mere business. Making a profit is the ultimate goal.
The way to make money from beauty pageants has changed a lot over time. The business of beauty can easily lead to the commercialization of the body, which has existed but is now outdated compared to the current era. Nowadays, the profit from beauty pageants can come from brands, advertising or even someone willing to spend money to buy glory.
For a long time, there has been no beauty queen representing Vietnamese beauty.
That's too normal and for a long time, beauty contests have just been a "family fun" event and the audience is no longer interested.
The image of beautiful beauty queens lying around at the airport and audiences in many Western countries not paying much attention is very different from the image of Vietnamese fans screaming when they see the beauties appear.
The title of each beauty is just a means for them to make money. Therefore, the story of someone becoming a beauty queen and representing Vietnamese beauty is absurd. That may be true but it is too far from today.
Participating in an international competition is simply their personal business and does not represent the colors of Vietnam.
Nowadays, beauty queens are just entertainers and the organizers of the pageant are the ones who create the event. Everyone has their own goals but ultimately it is to make a profit for themselves. The audience can be fascinated by the journey of the beauties because they admire their beauty. But like a movie, when the movie ends, all the actors leave their roles.
The same goes for the audience of beauty pageants. After the contest ends, everyone goes home and minds their own business. Those involved have recognized that the beauty queens of any beauty pageant cannot represent Vietnamese beauty, even if they are Vietnamese faces competing in an international beauty pageant.
