By 2024, the banking system in the region will operate stably, safely, effectively and sustainably, along with improving credit quality, controlling and handling bad debts, and ensuring system safety.
As of December 31, 2024, the total mobilized capital in the member provinces reached VND 511,978 billion (an increase of 11.43% compared to the end of 2023). Total outstanding loans reached VND 506,247 billion (an increase of 8.18% compared to the end of 2023). Bad debt accounted for 1.47% of total outstanding loans (ensuring a safety level of below 3%).
The State Bank branches in the provinces in the region actively direct the effective implementation of preferential credit programs of the Government, the Prime Minister and the industry, contributing to the socio -economic development of localities in the emulation cluster.
At the conference, the units discussed, shared and oriented tasks and solutions to organize the implementation of key tasks of the banking industry in 2025, continuing to deploy and fully implement the contents of the signed emulation covenant in 2025.
The grassroots trade union continues to carry out well the propaganda work, mobilizing union members, civil servants and workers to proactively and actively carry out the political tasks of the industry, the directives of the Governor of the State Bank on expertise as well as emulation and reward work.
By the end of 2024, outstanding loans in Quang Nam reached VND 114,742 billion (up 7.38% over the previous year) with 264,278 customers with outstanding loans, fully meeting the capital needs of businesses and people to maintain and develop production and business, contributing to economic growth.
By the end of 2024, the total bad debt in the area will be VND 1,628 billion (accounting for 1.42% of total outstanding debt, up 3.67% compared to the beginning of the year). Currently, 8/34 units have a bad debt/outstanding debt ratio of more than 3%.
