This new model is implemented by the Youth Union of Hoa Hai Ward People's Committee and the Red Cross Society of Hoa Hai Ward (Ngu Hanh Son District).
Non Nuoc Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Da Nang. Recently, the British newspaper Telegraph published a list of the 50 most beautiful beaches in the world.
My Khe and Non Nuoc are the two beaches in the top votes. Every day, a large number of tourists and locals come here to swim.
One weekend in August, Vo Anh Vu (a student at FPT University, Ngu Hanh Son District) and his group of friends went swimming here and were excited and surprised when a free life jacket station appeared on the beach.
Vu and his friends chose a few to ensure safety because most of them did not know how to swim. Vu shared: "I think it is very reasonable to put life jackets here. Especially in the summer, when people's demand for going to the beach is high, they are very necessary for people who do not know how to swim because not everyone can afford to bring life jackets to the beach."

Taking his child to the beach, Mr. Ho Anh (a tourist) chose a life jacket that fit his child and confidently swam in the sea. Mr. Ho Anh said that a beautiful beach with a free life jacket closet would enhance the beauty and hospitality of the people here. The act seemed simple but would limit many unfortunate situations from happening.
What Mr. Anh likes most is that not only is it 100% free, but there is also no time limit for borrowing. When finished using, residents and tourists just need to hang it back on the pole. The free life jacket station is located right next to the beach rules sign, so it is easy to see. When deployed, this model attracted a lot of people to use it. Everyone was very happy and satisfied.
Mr. Tran Van Thanh - a lifeguard at Non Nuoc beach - said: "This model, if well preserved, will be very beneficial for the people. Most people who borrow shirts are very conscious of keeping them and hanging them in the right place. But there are also people who are less conscious, they throw them away on the beach after bathing."

Mr. Nguyen Nho Hoai - Secretary of the Hoa Hai Ward Youth Union - said that the ward has 7km of coastline. Every day, many people and tourists come to swim and have fun. To limit unfortunate risks, the ward Youth Union has actively called for funds from union members and young people to buy life jackets and install stations.
"Every week, young people will take turns checking and rearranging life jackets at the station. In the near future, we will arrange more life jackets of all sizes for children to suit the needs of residents and tourists," said Mr. Hoai.
