According to Mr. Tuan, in addition to investing in the construction of expressways, the province will also expand National Highway 26B to connect with the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway, thereby effectively exploiting Van Phong port. At the same time, the province is also preparing to start construction of an inter-district road from Khanh Son district to Khanh Vinh district connecting with National Highway 27C and National Highway 27B. As well as investing in the construction of a coastal road from Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district connecting to Van Phong Economic Zone.

Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway to be inaugurated in mid-June 2023

Regarding traffic projects, on December 9, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to organize a conference to discuss and agree on some contents of the investment project to build the Nha Trang - Da Lat expressway.

At the conference, the consulting unit of Son Hai Group presented 4 route options for the project. Of which, option 1A (the route runs parallel to National Highway 27C) was proposed by the consulting unit. This option has the advantage of the shortest construction length and the lowest total investment, which is effective in supporting when National Highway 27C encounters landslides during the rainy and stormy season...

For this option, the starting point will connect with the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway and the ending point will be in Da Lat. The length of the expressway is 81.5 km; the scale of investment for one-time completion according to the plan is from 22 to 24.75 m. The total estimated investment is 19,743 billion VND.

Concluding the conference, the leaders of the two provinces highly agreed on the investment proposal for the Nha Trang - Da Lat expressway project with a one-time investment scale completed according to the planning from 22 to 24.75m.

The leaders of the two provinces also said that this is a strategic route, of great significance to ensuring national defense and security as well as socio-economic development; the two provinces will closely coordinate in completing procedures to propose investment policies to report to competent authorities.

Consulting on the proposal of Nha Trang - Da Lat expressway running parallel to National Highway 27C

Recently, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also approved the investment policy for the coastal road project from Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district to Ninh Hoa town, Van Phong Economic Zone with a length of more than 20 km, total estimated investment of more than 2,000 billion VND.

This project is invested by Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, the starting point connects to the north of Hien Luong 2 bridge, in Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district and the end point is at Km9+050 National Highway 26B, in Ninh Diem ward, Ninh Hoa town. Implementation period is from 2024 - 2027.

Once formed, the route will connect functional zones in Van Phong Economic Zone, meeting transportation needs for Hon Khoi port area; contributing to sharing, reducing load, and reducing traffic congestion on National Highway 1A when necessary...

According to the road network planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, Khanh Hoa province has three expressways, including: the 138 km long North - South expressway project in the east, the 117.5 km long Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project and the more than 80 km long Nha Trang - Lien Khuong expressway.
