Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Saigon Symphony Orchestra (SPO) in collaboration with the Hanoi Opera House announced the organization of the tour program The music of ABBA , bringing ABBA's music to Vietnam, through the performance of the band Arrival from Sweden.
In particular, the tour also features Drumset artist Åke Sundqvist - musician of the original band ABBA.

This is not only a musical event but also an activity towards the 55th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden.
The program is expected to be a cultural bridge between the two countries, strengthening the close relationship, sending a message about the strong determination of the two countries to cooperate for extensive and comprehensive development, actively contributing to peace, stability and development.
The music of ABBA tour will take place in 3 major cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hanoi.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the concert will be held on October 5 at the Independence Palace, promising to become a meeting place for classical music lovers, especially fans of the band ABBA. It is expected that about 8,000-10,000 people will attend. The Organizing Committee revealed that ticket prices range from 1.2 to 3 million VND.
The music night is also an opportunity for the Ho Chi Minh City tourism industry to promote the image, culture, and people of Vietnam in general, and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, to international friends. Not only enjoying music, visitors will discover a land full of vitality, immerse themselves in the dynamic lifestyle, enjoy the cuisine and beauty of the city.
ABBA was formed in 1972 and is one of the most successful bands in the world with hundreds of millions of albums sold. The group has released hit singles such as: Fernando, Mamma mia, Dancing queen, Knowing me knowing you, Name of the game...
The group disbanded in 1982 and reunited in 2016. In late May, ABBA was awarded a royal medal by the Swedish king, honoring their achievements in national and international music.
Arrival from Sweden was formed in 1995 in Sweden, with core members including Mark, Sarah, Vicky, Matt, Kev, Steve, Jack. Since then, they have toured in 70 countries around the world. This year, the group has completed 80 shows.
