The final night on July 13 is considered the most exciting of all DIFF seasons, with a rematch between two "arch-rivals" Finland and China, making Da Nang the hottest destination these days.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, tickets for the final night were sold out very early. Therefore, many tourists coming to Da Nang this time are having to look for places to watch fireworks outside of Tran Hung Dao Street (Son Tra District). On the social networking forum about Da Nang tourism, there are a series of posts looking for places to watch fireworks, many customers even go to quite far away restaurants with high-floor balconies.
The number of flights to Da Nang has also increased significantly during this time. It is estimated that Da Nang will receive an average of 110-120 flights per day, with about 150 flights on July 13, 2024 (the day of the DIFF 2024 finale), an increase of 25-35% compared to normal.

Ms. Thu Hang - owner of a homestay on Tran Bach Dang Street (Son Tra District, Da Nang) said: " Many guests are subjective, waiting until the day of departure to book a hotel room, so it is very difficult to find a room now. My family has also sold out all the rooms on booking platforms for a long time.
My apartment has a view of the city, you can watch fireworks from afar, so on fireworks nights there is a surcharge of 10-15% higher than normal days, but guests are still happy to book rooms .
According to information from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments during the first 3 nights of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 reached 198,257, an increase of 11.7% compared to DIFF 2023. It is predicted that the number of guests staying during the fireworks finale will increase even more.
Many hotels and restaurants with high views are chosen by tourists to watch the fireworks.
According to statistics from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in the first 6 months of the year, the city has seen an increase in the number of visitors beyond expectations, especially international visitors, surpassing the peak period of 2019, increasing by more than 40% compared to 2023, reaching 2 million international visitors out of a total of 5.1 million visitors. It can be seen that, along with many famous destinations and large-scale festival events, DIFF has "built a bridge" for more and more international tourists to know and visit the city on the Han River.
