Proposal to build a tunnel under Dong Nai river to replace Cat Lai bridge

Today (November 15), at a working session with Dong Nai province leaders, a business presented the idea of ​​building a tunnel across Dong Nai river connecting Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City to replace Cat Lai bridge.

Accordingly, the construction of a tunnel across the river aims to solve land clearance problems and minimize impacts on people's lives.

Representatives of departments and branches in Dong Nai highly appreciated the idea and said that this is a feasible solution to solve the traffic problem in the Cat Lai area.

Dong Nai province is currently one of the localities with rapid urbanization, the demand for transport infrastructure is increasing.

Therefore, the province recommends that businesses and partners study this proposed idea more carefully. At the same time, it requires a detailed plan report to the provincial leaders. In addition, it is necessary to closely coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City to unify related issues.
