According to the proposal sent to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, Quang Nam - Da Nang Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company (investor) proposed to reduce the area of Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park from 357.08 hectares to about 345 hectares.

The reason for the adjustment is that during the process of surveying, measuring, and re-evaluating the current status and actual development, Quang Nam - Da Nang Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company found that there were more than 12 hectares of land that could not be cleared.

The adjustment to reduce the area of this industrial park aims to create favorable conditions for planning management and effective land exploitation.

Previously, in 2020, Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park was also allowed to reduce its area from 390 hectares to 357.08 hectares due to problems in site clearance.

Currently, Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park has more than 77 investment projects, with a total registered capital of nearly 586 million USD and more than 3.7 trillion VND. The occupancy rate of this industrial park has reached 94%, creating jobs for about 23 thousand workers.
