The Hanoi People's Committee proposed considering the option of investing in the construction of a road connecting Gia Binh airport with the capital under the PPP form, with a total investment of VND26,700 billion.
Hanoi People's Committee has issued a document concluding the plan to build a road connecting Gia Binh airport ( Bac Ninh province) with the capital.
Accordingly, the Hanoi People's Committee agreed with the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee to report to the Prime Minister to select the option of building a new route from Bac Ninh province to the north of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway connecting to the intersection between the Hanoi - Lang Son Expressway and Ring Road 3. The route has a cross-section width of 120m (10 expressway lanes).
The section that coincides with Ring Road 3 connecting with Tu Lien Bridge approach road to the center of the capital is about 28.58km long. Of which, the section that coincides with Tu Lien Bridge approach road to the center of the capital has a cross-section width of 60m.
The Hanoi People's Committee proposed that the Government consider choosing to invest in the project under the PPP (public-private partnership) model. The site clearance work will be carried out by the two localities under the form of public investment.
The Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested the Department of Finance to preside over research and propose investment mechanisms for tasks under the city's responsibility; advise, propose and report to the Prime Minister before March 10.
Previously, Bac Ninh proactively reviewed and planned, and agreed with Hanoi on the route direction and width scale of the road with a length of about 46km.
The total investment for the construction of the route connecting Gia Binh - Bac Ninh airport with Hanoi capital is about 26,700 billion VND, of which construction and installation costs are 21,500 billion VND and 5,200 billion VND for site clearance compensation.
