Project Management Board 85 ( Ministry of Transport ) - investor of Dai Ngai bridge project worked with Soc Trang province on the investment proposal of 14km of National Highway 60, connecting the project to Soc Trang city.
On November 15, Project Management Board 85 had a meeting with leaders of Soc Trang province to discuss the new investment in National Highway 60, connecting from Dai Ngai Bridge project to Soc Trang city.
National Highway 60, section through Long Duc commune, Long Phu district.
The report of Project Management Board 85 shows that Dai Ngai bridge on National Highway 60 through two provinces of Tra Vinh and Soc Trang has a total investment of 7,962 billion VND.
To date, after reviewing the implementation costs, the remaining amount of the project is about 1,752 billion VND. On that basis, the investor has studied new investment in the National Highway 60 section, according to the locality's proposal.
Accordingly, this national highway section will connect from Dai Ngai bridge to Soc Trang city belt road, with an estimated length of over 14km, in accordance with the provincial traffic planning.
The starting point of the new national highway is at the intersection of Nam Song Hau road (coinciding with the end point of Dai Ngai bridge) in Long Duc commune (Long Phu district).
This route will pass through Long Duc commune, Tan Thanh commune of Long Phu district. The end point is at National Highway 60 (in Ward 5, Soc Trang city) intersecting with the National Highway 60 bypass, the section passing through An Nghiep industrial park.
Phase 1 for the road and bridges on the route is a two-lane, grade III plain road, with a design speed of 80km/h, with a total investment of 1,870 billion VND.
In addition, the investor also proposed some contents about Dai Ngai bridge such as source of sand materials; site clearance work...
At the meeting, Mr. Lam Van Man, Secretary of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee, agreed with the investor on the construction plan proposed by the unit.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Transport are assigned to coordinate with relevant units to promptly send a document to the Ministry of Transport requesting early consideration and investment in the project.
In addition, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is assigned to ensure the source of sand materials for the construction of Dai Ngai 2 Bridge and the project to build the section from Dai Ngai Bridge (phase 2) connecting to the belt road in the province.
In addition, relevant departments and branches coordinate with Long Phu District People's Committee to thoroughly resolve arising problems related to site clearance.
