TPO – The new road in the Northwest of Ho Chi Minh City will be about 10km long, 40m wide, starting at the intersection with Ring Road 2 and ending at the intersection with Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City (bordering Long An province) with a total investment of about 5,200 billion VND.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has just proposed to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to implement 6 key transport projects in the Northwest region in the period of 2024 - 2030.

In which, the largest scale project is the construction of a new road in the Northwest in Binh Chanh district.

According to the HCM City Department of Transport, the new northwestern road is about 10km long and 40m wide. The project starts at Ring Road 2 and ends at Ring Road 3 in HCM City (bordering Long An province) with a total investment of about VND5,200 billion.

This route will help solve the traffic jams that often occur in Binh Chanh and Hoc Mon districts due to the high density of industrial parks in this area; forming a radial axis connecting from Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 2 to Ring Road 4 and Duc Hoa dynamic axis (Long An).
