Proposal to add prices for 1,180 medical examination and treatment services in Hai Duong

The Culture and Social Committee will review the content presented at the 30th session of the Provincial People's Council, which will take place on April 28.

On the afternoon of April 23, the Department of Culture and Society worked with the Departments of Health and Construction to review two contents to be presented at the 30th Session (special session) of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council scheduled to take place on April 28.

The Department of Culture and Society reviewed the Proposal to issue a Resolution regulating the supplementary prices of medical examination and treatment services at State medical examination and treatment facilities under the management authority of Hai Duong province. After reviewing 1,213 service and technical lists proposed by 16 medical facilities, the Department of Health assessed and recommended supplementary prices for 1,180 medical examination and treatment service lists, including 1 medical examination list, 1,036 technical lists and 143 surgery and anesthesia lists. The supplementary lists are aimed at completing the medical service prices because the previous consultation and approval by medical facilities were not complete.

The leader of the Department of Health stated the reason for the need to supplement the price of medical examination and treatment services.

Reviewing this content, members of the Culture - Society Committee requested the Department of Health to clarify the necessity of adding prices for medical examination and treatment services and the basis for proposing to issue a resolution. The method of determining and calculating prices should be based on conditions, regulations, and practical factors. The Department of Health needs to continue to carefully review new medical technical services to avoid omissions and overlap with the issued list. At the same time, it is necessary to guide medical facilities to research and develop new lists to be proactive in proposing and approving prices for technical services.

The Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council contributed opinions on the audit contents.

At the meeting, the Department of Culture and Society agreed with the Proposal on adjusting the Resolution on supporting housing costs for households with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, poor households, and near-poor households in Hai Duong province. The Department of Construction stated the reason for the adjustment was that some cases died before renovating or building houses; some cases did not meet the conditions for support or no longer needed support; some suggested changing the support needs from new construction to repair or vice versa.

The Department of Construction proposed to amend and adjust a number of contents of Resolution No. 01/NQ - HDND dated February 20, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council to support housing costs for households with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, poor households, and near-poor households in Hai Duong province. That is, to reduce the number of supported households from 1,638 to 1,453 households. The support budget was adjusted after reducing the number of supported households by more than 107 billion VND.
