According to the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security, in terms of literature alone, the Ministry of Public Security has coordinated with the Vietnam Writers Association to successfully organize 5 competitions for writing novels, stories and memoirs on the theme "For National Security and Peaceful Life".

In the field of music, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Vietnam Musicians Association, successfully organized 7 song and music composition camps on the topic of the People's Public Security. In addition, the Ministry of Public Security also organized 5 art composition camps "For National Security and Peaceful Life"; directed the arrangement of quality performances, programs, and plays, performed nearly 3,000 sessions to serve political and foreign affairs tasks, serve the people, participate in the National Music and Dance Festival, National Theater Festival, etc.

Literary and artistic works about the police are promoted through cultural and artistic activities of the police force.

The results of the competitions and creative camps show that artists have enthusiastically responded to creative activities and exhibitions on the theme of the People's Public Security Forces. Specifically, the 2nd Stage Script Writing Camp on the theme of the People's Public Security Forces in 2023 received 18 quality scripts, 6 of which were used immediately at the 4th National Stage Arts Festival on the "Image of the People's Public Security Soldier" in 2020 and all won high prizes. The song and dance composition camp on the theme of "For National Security and Peaceful Life" in 2022 had over 60 musicians and choreographers from inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces participating. The painting contest about advanced models and examples of “Good people, good deeds” in the People’s Public Security Forces had more than 300 authors submitting their works to participate... Many other writing and composition contests organized by political and social organizations of the Ministry of Public Security, Writers’ Associations, and Public Security of units and localities also received active participation from artists and writers and received many good works.

Commenting on the literature and art of the People's Public Security Forces, many researchers and artists believe that literary and artistic works about the People's Public Security Forces contribute to diversifying the way of expressing the image of the People's Public Security Forces soldiers. These works not only honor the image of the Public Security Forces soldiers but also arouse patriotism and national pride; contribute to widely propagating the precious historical values ​​of the armed forces, expressing gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of generations of People's Public Security Forces; improve the spiritual life of officers and soldiers, and are effective tools in propaganda and political and ideological education; contribute to spreading and positively influencing the aesthetic tastes of the public. To promote the development of the People's Public Security Forces literature and art, there should be more timely encouragement and support policies.

Create favorable conditions for the development of creative teams

Writer Bui Viet Thang said that currently, the Public Security Writers Association has grown strongly, reflected in both the number of members and the quality of works. The participation of writers outside the Public Security Forces on the subject of Public Security Forces has demonstrated the appeal of a major subject with humanistic and artistic significance on par with other major subjects such as revolutionary war, the cause of national construction in the period of renovation and sustainable development. However, to develop Public Security literature and art in the coming time, many solutions are needed, including building a solid reserve team for the future. There must be enough human and material resources in implementing cultural policies to train talents, creating resources to promote the development of literature and art according to the key tasks of the country. Building a "Humanistic Cultural Space", creating conditions to expand creative space to spread Public Security literature to every home, every person. Therefore, a strategy is needed to promote CAND culture, literature and art widely in spiritual life to strengthen and revive reading culture which is at risk of being fiercely competed by audiovisual culture.

Associate Professor, Doctor, musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, also said that continuing to encourage creativity, exploiting themes and improving the quality of works is necessary to reflect more fully and deeply the People's Public Security Forces in the current period, making an important contribution to honoring the image of the People's Public Security Soldier. To build a People's Public Security Literature and Arts, it is necessary to have a team of artists who uphold civic responsibility, unite in one heart, train a strong political stance, pure ethics, strongly promote the spirit of creativity, proactiveness, and positivity in the role of social criticism, fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile arguments. At the same time, it is necessary to create conditions for artists both inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces to hone their talents, penetrate reality in professional units, helping them have a more realistic and profound view of the work of the People's Public Security Soldiers, thereby creating quality works.

Create a more open and transparent environment for artists to freely express their own views and artistic styles; discover, support and nurture young artists, creating conditions for them to develop and contribute to the CAND literature and art. Departments, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations and unions actively organize movements, campaigns, and literary and artistic composition competitions to respond to and serve political tasks and learn about the CAND force.

It is necessary to develop and implement coordination programs with relevant functional units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and literary and artistic associations to improve the quality, attract, motivate and encourage artists to participate in creative activities, performances and art exhibitions of the People's Public Security Forces. The People's Public Security Forces need to continue to organize literary and artistic composition competitions, art festivals, and cultural and artistic clubs to attract the participation of a large number of officers and soldiers and discover and nurture artistic talents in the force.

Organize regular thematic activities on literature and art in many rich, lively and attractive forms such as seminars, exchanges, listening to talks, watching performances... to cultivate and enhance awareness, level of perception, enjoyment of literature and art; contribute to building and fostering political stance, ideology, ethics, and healthy lifestyle of officers and soldiers. Diversifying forms of promotion and creating favorable conditions for authors to access reality will contribute to improving the quality and spreading of CAND literature and art in social life.
