Mathematics exam for the second round of admission to the 10th grade at the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences (Faculty of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi):
This year, the school is recruiting 540 students for 5 specialized classes including Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Informatics, and Physics, and a high-quality class, with 90 students for each class.
Candidates will have two rounds of testing. In Round 1, all candidates must take two common subjects: Literature and Mathematics, with 120 minutes allotted for each subject.
In Round 2, candidates will take the specialized subject exam corresponding to the specialized class they registered for, with a time limit of 150 minutes. Candidates registering for two specialized classes will have to take two specialized subjects (with different exam times).
The exam format will be a combination of multiple-choice and essay questions for Literature (Round 1), and essay questions for the remaining subjects. The exams will take place from June 4th to June 5th.
