The entrance exam for 10th grade in public high schools in Hanoi for the 2023-2024 school year will take place from June 9th to 12th. According to the schedule, students took the Biology specialized exam this morning.
This year, over 115,000 students in Hanoi participated in the entrance exam for public high schools. Over 129,000 students were recognized as having graduated from junior high school, with over 115,000 of them taking the entrance exam for 10th grade citywide. According to the allocated quota, schools in the city will admit 69,805 students into the public school system (compared to over 69,200 in 2022).
In the specialized programs (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted, Chu Sinh Hoc An High School, Son Tay High School), the total number of registered candidates is 11,283. The total enrollment quota is 1,895.
Each student can register their preferences for admission to a maximum of 3 public high schools, ranked in order of preference 1, preference 2, and preference 3.
