Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 Le Hoang Phuong
Le Hoang Phuong is currently a graduate student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The beauty born in 1995 and from Khanh Hoa province said that she will participate in the Miss Grand International 2023 contest in less than a month.
"Phuong's schedule starts from morning to night every day, quite busy to prepare for the competition, so she will consume a lot of energy. However, Phuong also needs to tighten her body to have a slim figure, so she chooses to eat according to the 'eat clean' diet, which means avoiding spices and cutting down on sugar," said Hoang Phuong.
Every day, Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 usually spends about an hour at the gym and 15 minutes meditating. She said that while participating in the contest and after being crowned, her current schedule is quite busy because Phuong needs to balance her role as a beauty queen and her business, which somewhat affects her daily eating and exercise.
"However, Phuong will take advantage of her free time to maintain her eating and exercise habits. According to Phuong, to maintain her figure and health, she must definitely exercise every day. In addition, she especially should not skip meals and ensure that her body receives enough nutrients to maintain energy for activities. To have a clear mind, she must have a healthy body," Phuong shared.
Miss Tuyet Nhi, University of Finance and Marketing
Tran Tuyet Nhi, a student of class CLC-20DKS01, Faculty of Tourism, University of Finance and Marketing, entered the final round of the Miss Vietnam Global Tourism 2022 contest. Currently, Nhi occasionally works as a model, performs and takes fashion photos.
To maintain her body measurements of 1m70-54kg and her three-round measurements of 84-62-94, Nhi follows a diet with a nutritious menu of 3 meals a day, focusing on taking in lots of nutrients and drinking almond milk in the morning, and at noon, focusing on nutritious, long-lasting foods such as protein - starch - green vegetables.
Nhi eats less for dinner and eats before 7:30 p.m., and avoids snacking to avoid accumulating belly fat. In addition, this beauty queen also eats a lot of fruit, drinks a lot of water, and limits staying up late. Nhi especially avoids eating sweets or foods with chemical sugar because they can easily cause weight gain and can accelerate premature aging.
"I always spend 15 minutes every morning to stretch my muscles, joints, increase my height and try to exercise regularly to have a firmer and healthier body. Specifically, I spend 3 sessions a week going to the gym, on average 45 minutes a session to practice plank and squat movements to tighten my waist and expand my hips without the need for exercise equipment," said beauty queen Tuyet Nhi.
Nhi believes that a beautiful person should not only be beautiful in appearance but also cultivate more communication skills, behavior, English proficiency and her own talents, so she does not strictly follow any weight loss process but only controls the amount of food and calories consumed into the body every day.
"Sometimes I allow myself to eat a little more comfortably during the times when I'm focusing on reviewing for semester exams at school to relieve stress, and I also skip gym sessions when I have a lot of homework or haven't finished reviewing for exams. But after the exam, I quickly return to my normal diet and exercise regimen so as not to lose my form," Nhi shared.
In her free time, Nhi often reads books, learns English and takes care of pets. "Doing the things I love makes me feel more relaxed and energetic than ever. To stay in shape and healthy, in addition to eating and exercising, a happy, optimistic, healthy spirit and positive thinking are also very important," Tuyet Nhi said.
Pham Thi Quynh Nhu, Miss SIU (Saigon International University) 2023
This beautiful girl from Ha Tinh is studying in her 4th year of logistics and supply chain management at Saigon International University.
Nhu said her daily diet is not too special, just 3 meals and most importantly, she does not skip breakfast. When she does not have much time in the morning, fruit available in the refrigerator is an option so Nhu does not have to skip meals.
"Lunch is my highest calorie meal with all the necessary nutrients from meat, fish, eggs, milk... For dinner, I hardly eat meat, the nutrition comes from vegetables and nuts. My favorite dish is tofu dishes, specifically fried tofu with tomato sauce. For me, tofu is an ideal ingredient for vegetarian meals, and importantly, it is also very delicious," Nhu said.
Along with a healthy diet, Quynh Nhu spends 10-15 minutes exercising at home and an hour walking every day. On bad weather days, Nhu does not walk but increases her exercise to 30 minutes.
"During beauty pageants or when I'm concentrating on semester exams, I'll spend 1-2 meals a week eating comfortably with friends, and I still follow the practice schedule. In my free time, I'll practice meditation. Although I've only recently learned about this subject, I really like the benefits of meditation and am in the process of practicing it," Nhu said.
For Miss SIU, to maintain a healthy body and figure, in addition to diet and exercise, mental health is the most important. With a good spirit, you will be able to balance everything and keep fit more effectively.

Currently, this beautiful female student is practicing Pilates to improve her health and adjust her body shape to be balanced. "Not only that, this subject also helps Khanh improve her concentration, as well as her patience and determination in each movement. A session of Khanh lasts an hour with a variety of exercises. In addition, in her free time, Khanh often walks in the park near her house to breathe fresh air and increase positive energy for herself," Khanh shared.
Even during her busiest times, Khanh still tries to maintain three workout sessions a week, not in the morning or at noon, but in the evening. "Eating healthily and properly with adequate nutrition will protect your health and prevent diseases. In addition, we should also exercise regularly, such as walking, jogging, swimming... all are good for your health and help you maintain a balanced figure."
