During the last months of the year, the tourism atmosphere in Quang Ninh is often less exciting than in the summer, but there are still many special events that attract a large number of people and tourists.

On October 25, Binh Lieu district held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Culture - Tourism Week with the theme "Binh Lieu - Festival season", starting a series of unique cultural activities and festivals taking place throughout the last months of the year in the area. Typical examples include: Golden Season Festival, So Flower Festival, ethnic minority women's football tournament, dinosaur spine climbing competition, "Flying over the Golden Season" paragliding festival, experiencing the dong vermicelli making village...

For the series of events to take place successfully, Binh Lieu district is interested in directing the synchronous implementation of solutions to ensure security and order, and environmental sanitation. Specifically, the conditions and plans to tighten security and traffic order at the event venues are carefully implemented, corresponding to the large number of tourists and people coming to the area. Propaganda work before and during the festival is carried out continuously, with diverse forms, helping people raise awareness, have civilized behavior, dress appropriately, and behave properly...

Thanks to careful preparation in advance, in general, cultural events and festival activities in Binh Lieu district in recent days have taken place in a civilized and safe manner. Local authorities regularly organize inspections, checks and supervision during the activities, promptly prevent and strictly handle negative phenomena and violations. In particular, it is not allowed to take advantage of festivals and crowded events to propagate reactionary content, incite violence, or circulate illegal cultural products, superstition, organize disguised gambling... Thereby, people and tourists can rest assured to have a complete experience, deeply feel the beauty of the local landscape and culture. Binh Lieu district expects to reach the target of welcoming 250,000 visitors in 2024 thanks to its unique natural and cultural advantages.

Also in October 2024, Tien Yen district held the opening ceremony of the Golden Season Festival in Dai Duc commune, aiming to restore and promote tourism development at the end of the year. Many exciting cultural activities took place within the framework of the festival, such as: Folk song exchange and reenactment of the San Chi ethnic people's harvest praying ritual; spinning top competition in terraced fields; rice pounding competition, cooking Bao Thanh rice pots and displaying traditional dishes... The unique appeal of this event has attracted a large number of people and tourists to the locality.

To ensure safety for the festival, Tien Yen District Police proactively developed plans and strategies, mobilized police forces, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, militia... to continuously propagate, remind, and guide safe travel, prevent violations of the law... Thanks to that, people and tourists generally strictly followed the regulations of the organizing committee, did not jostle and cause congestion, ensuring traffic safety; no serious violations occurred.

With the general orientation of developing 4-season tourism, many exciting events in localities throughout the province will take place in the last months of 2024. Typical are the Tra Duong Hoa festival in Hai Ha district in October; the Uong Bi Golden Autumn program to promote the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic complex, associated with the Yen Tu Heritage 2024 race scheduled to take place in December; the Ha Long Bay Heritage Day program, the Flower Festival at Quang La Flower Paradise held in Ha Long City also in December...

To ensure safety, the provincial police mobilized maximum forces, increased patrols and controls, and deployed professional measures to prevent violations of the law, ensure order, smooth traffic, and prevent fires and explosions. However, each citizen and tourist also needs to equip themselves with civilized and safe behavior, and be responsible for building and promoting a beautiful image of the culture and people of Quang Ninh in the new era.

Quang Ninh is aiming to welcome 19 million tourists in 2024, including 3.5 million international visitors. By the end of October, the province had welcomed 16.8 million visitors, of which international visitors were estimated at over 3 million.

In recent years, many units have chosen Quang Ninh as a destination for MICE (Meeting Incentive Conference Event) tourism - tourism combined with conferences, seminars, events. Because of the synchronous tourism infrastructure with more than 20,000 rooms in 1,380 accommodation establishments, along with 32 tours, 78 tourist destinations... Besides, MICE tourism is a product line that brings high profits and is interested and connected by many Quang Ninh tourism businesses.
