According to the Project, the establishment of the new Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Office is determined to be streamlined, modern, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, ensure the good implementation of the advisory, synthesis and service functions for the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee after the merger. At the same time, the organization of the new apparatus is also consistent with the two-level local government organization model, without the district level organization.

The new Provincial People's Committee Office will perform the function of advising the Provincial People's Committee in developing and implementing programs and work plans of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; controlling administrative procedures; organizing the implementation of the one-stop and one-stop mechanism in handling administrative procedures under local authority; at the same time being the official information hub of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; operating the Provincial Electronic Information Portal.
In addition, the office is also responsible for connecting the electronic administrative information system to serve the direction and administration of the provincial leaders; managing the Official Gazette and serving the general activities of the Provincial People's Committee; supporting the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the province in performing their duties and powers according to their authority; managing the internal administrative work of the Office; advising on state management of foreign affairs.
The organizational structure of the new Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Office includes 9 departments, offices and professional and technical units. Regarding personnel, the Chief of Office will be decided by the competent authority based on the personnel plan of the three localities (currently there are 3 Chiefs of Office). Regarding Deputy Chiefs of Office, initially maintain the current number (including 9 people) and implement a gradual reduction roadmap, ensuring compliance with Government regulations. At the time of developing the Project, there has not been any case of cadres or civil servants wishing to resign to serve the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus.
The new office of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee is expected to be located at 04 Tran Hung Dao, Ward 3, Da Lat City and will be implemented according to the province's overall plan.
