On the afternoon of April 8, the working delegation of the National Steering Committee for Search, Collection and Identification of Martyrs' Remains (National Steering Committee 515) worked with the Military Command of Quang Nam Province and Da Nang City on the acceptance of data on the conclusion of the area and the map products for the search and collection of martyrs' remains.
According to the Quang Nam Provincial Military Command: Steering Committee 515 has received 110,049 information about martyrs. Through the information processing process, it was determined that the total number of martyrs initially buried in the province was 82,501, of which 40,545 were local people, the rest were martyrs of other units. The Da Nang City Military Command said: according to statistics, the total number of martyrs initially buried in the area was 7,555 martyrs, currently 6,894 martyrs have been searched and gathered, 358 martyrs have not been searched and gathered and 303 martyrs have unknown information about their gathering.
