The MLS transfer window is about to close on February 20th. David Beckham's priority is to strengthen Inter Miami's defense with at least one new player. However, the deal to sign defensive midfielder Federico Redondo from Argentinos Juniors (Argentina) remains stalled.

"David Beckham needs to get rid of some unnecessary players from Inter Miami's squad in order to recruit new players as he wishes, due to the club's financial constraints preventing significant spending. The transfer window is closing. Therefore, to strengthen the team, David Beckham will have to act urgently," The Athletic reported.
Inter Miami has just loaned winger Emerson Rodriguez to Colombian club Millonarios FC, with an option to extend until the end of 2024.
Just before their opening match of the new MLS 2024 season against Real Salt Lake at 8 AM on February 22nd, Inter Miami also received good news as key midfielder Sergio Busquets has recovered from injury. However, Busquets' participation in the opening match remains uncertain. Meanwhile, Messi, Suarez, and Jordi Alba are all ready to play.
