Investing more than 55,000 billion VND for urban development goals by 2030

Viet Tri City maintains its status as a class I urban area.

The viewpoint of developing the urban system of the whole province is closely linked with industrialization - modernization, development to meet the market economy , attaching importance to urban - rural connection, determining the urban economy to play a leading, core role and be the locomotive in the socio-economic development of the province.

The goal of developing an urban network in accordance with the Phu Tho Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030 is the basis for mobilizing resources and managing urban development investment, controlling development on the principle of close connection with the urban system in the region and the whole country, ensuring connection with many other infrastructures, especially traffic infrastructure, developing urban areas in the direction of smart, civilized, modern urban areas, in accordance with the characteristics, historical traditions and traditional cultural identity of Phu Tho.

Phu Tho town is the only type II urban area in the province.

It is estimated that the budget for implementing the program for urban areas is about 55,804.9 billion VND. Of which, the State budget is about 8,561.9 billion VND. Other mobilized capital is about 47,243.1 billion VND. The budget will be used to make plans, adjust master plans; establish architectural management regulations for urban areas; establish urban development programs, establish urban classification projects for each urban area; and cover the cost of building technical infrastructure and social infrastructure for urban areas and communes expected to develop into urban areas.
